Wood Apple (Limonia acidissima) is common in Sri Lanka, India but uncommon enough around the world so there is not much information about it’s medicinal values on the internet. According to our Ayurvedic doctors’ wood apple fruits, leaves, bark of stem, flowers and gums are used in Ayurvedic medicine to treat many of illnesses and deceases.

Soursop is the fruit of Annona muricata, broadleaf, flowering, evergreen tree native to Central and South America, also produced in some parts of Asia, including Sri Lanka.
